Getting the Most Out of Your Training Program

Your program works best when you trust the personalization, log what actually happened, and use the tools already built into the app. Here's how to get the most out of it.

Trust the plan, especially the parts that feel conservative

Your program is built to progress you safely from wherever you're actually starting, not to hit a fixed mileage target. If a week feels lighter than you expected, that's often intentional, not a mistake.

Give every workout the effort it's asking for

Keep easy runs easy, save your effort for key workouts, and don't turn a run into a race against the clock just because you feel good that day.

Then log your RPE honestly afterward. Your training load comes directly from what you log after each workout. Skipping it or guessing means your program is working with incomplete information about how your training is actually landing.

Check your Today tab daily

Your Daily Brief, Daily Insight, and check-in are there to help you start each day informed, and your training calendar (available with an active Premium subscription) gives you the bigger picture whenever you need it.

Consistency matters more than any single session

Long-term progress comes from showing up regularly, not from any one great run or one perfect week. Small, consistent effort compounds over months in a way that occasional heroic efforts don't.

Your Movement Sequence is one of the most important components to complete to maximize injury prevention and to see improvements in your running form. The mobility, activation, drill, and cue work reinforces exactly what your assessment found.

None of this requires perfection. Your job is mostly to show up, log what's true, and trust the process.
