Notifications: Enabling & Troubleshooting

Push notifications are part of RunDNA, and they're managed through your phone's own settings. There is no notifications switch inside the app itself. Here's how it works and how to turn notifications on or off.

How notifications are set up

The first time you open RunDNA, the app asks for permission to send you notifications. Your answer there sets the starting point. After that, you manage notifications in your phone's Settings.

Turn notifications on or off — iPhone

  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Find and tap RunDNA.
  4. Turn Allow Notifications on or off.

  1. Open your phone's Settings.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Find and tap RunDNA.
  4. Tap Notifications and turn them on or off.

If you tapped "Don't allow" earlier

If you declined the permission prompt when you first opened the app, notifications stay off until you switch them on yourself. Just follow the steps above for your phone to turn them back on — you don't need to reinstall the app.

Menu paths can vary slightly between phone models, but the option is always under RunDNA in your device's Settings.
