Troubleshooting Video Upload Issues

If a video won't upload or seems stuck, don't worry — it's usually quick to fix. Work through the checks below and your assessment should go through.

Check the file first

The app checks each video's type and size. Make sure your file is:

  • A .mp4 or .mov file
  • Under 100 MB

If a video is too large or the wrong type, record or export a new one that fits these limits.

Retry a failed upload

If a video shows an error, tap the retry button on that video. The app never retries by itself, so nothing happens until you tap it. Remember that each video uploads separately and can be paused and resumed, so you only need to retry the one that failed.

Check your connection

  1. Confirm you have a working internet connection.
  2. If the upload is slow or keeps stopping, move to a stronger Wi-Fi or mobile signal and try again.

If the recording won't save

If your phone can't save the recording in the first place, free up some storage space on your device, then record again.
