Generating New Reports (New Run Form, RMS, Full Movement)

Creating a new report in RunDNA takes just a few taps. You choose which kind of assessment you want, and the app guides you through the rest. Here's how to start each type.

Start a new report

  1. Go to the Labs screen and tap the + New button on the Movement tile. You can also tap + New on the View All Assessments screen.
  2. Choose the type of report you want to create.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps until your report is submitted.

The three report types

  • New Run Form Assessment — videos only. You submit two running videos for analysis.
  • New RMS Assessment — the movement screen only. You complete a series of movement tests in the app.
  • New Full RunDNA Assessment — videos plus the movement screen. This gives you the most complete picture of your running.

Preparing a Full report

A Full RunDNA Assessment combines your run videos and your movement screen, so it needs a little time to come together. After you finish submitting everything, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to prepare before you can open it. You don't need to keep the app open the whole time.

Make it your main report

Once a report is ready, you can set it as the one that powers your home-screen results. See How to Update Your Labs Tab (Set Your Main Report) for the steps.

If your report uses video, take a look at How to Submit a Video for Analysis before you start so your uploads go smoothly.
