Why Mobility and Stability Matter

Limited mobility or stability forces other parts of your body to compensate under load, and over time, that compensation raises your injury risk.

Running places repeated load on your joints, muscles, and tendons, mile after mile. When a part of your body doesn't move well (limited mobility) or doesn't control that movement well (limited stability), nearby areas often pick up the slack. That extra, unplanned load is where a lot of running injuries start.

This is one of the pillars RunDNA is built on, alongside running form and personalized training: movement quality. Rather than treating strength and mobility as a separate, optional add-on, RunDNA treats it as core to injury prevention and to running efficiently in the first place.

Your Runner Movement Screen (RMS) is how RunDNA checks your mobility and stability specifically, and how those results turn into a personalized set of exercises.
